About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Snellville, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop appropriate exercise programs
- Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Georgia
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of common orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
