Local Contract Physical Therapist - $35-52 per hour

About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function.
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), a successor organization of CAPTE, or an education program outside the United States determined to be substantially equivalent to physical therapist entry-level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Passed an examination for Physical Therapists approved by the state in which physical therapy services are provided.
• Licensed as a PT by the state in which practicing, unless licensure does not apply within state regulation.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient assessment tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using medical software and documentation systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
