Local Contract PCU RN - $33-38 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a talented local contract nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in the Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit at a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. The position offers 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift working days.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document all patient interactions and treatments
Requirements
- Current RN license in North Carolina
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in a progressive care unit preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Passing scores on NCLEX-RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
