About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a cardiac progressive care unit setting.
- Assist with daily patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing other assigned tasks.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in a progressive care unit preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures.
