Local Contract PCU Registered Nurse - $33-38 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a talented local contract nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Asheville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assess patients’ conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing program
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
