Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $52-61 per hour

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with the monitoring and management of patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical staff.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
