Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $50-59 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients immediately following anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Prepare and assist with post-anesthesia procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current New York State RN license
• Experience in PACU preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Excellent organizational skills

• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols
