Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $48-56 per hour
About the role
Hospital in California is seeking a travel Pre-Op/ASU travel nurse. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications. 10 hour shifts available for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Monitor patients post-surgery and provide necessary care
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Document patient care activities accurately
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management and organization skills
