About the role

Hospital in California is seeking a travel Pre-Op/ASU travel nurse. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications. 10 hour shifts available for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient care in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
  • Monitor patients post-surgery and provide necessary care
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Document patient care activities accurately

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices

Skills

  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management and organization skills

Schedule

10 hour shifts available for 13 weeks.
