Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $44-52 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients immediately following anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers
• Ensure patient comfort and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in PACU preferred
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for travel nursing

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
