Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $29-34 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role will be for 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients recovering from anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as needed
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Document patient care activities accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina
• Experience in PACU preferred
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good interpersonal skills
