Local Contract Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse - $45-52 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 12-week assignment in Sanford, Maine. This position offers 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for surgery
• Perform surgical procedures under supervision
• Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure sterile environment and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in operating room setting preferred
• Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
