Local Contract Outpatient Occupational Therapist - $40-57 per hour

Local contract Outpatient Occupational Therapist position in New York, New York. Duration: 52 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current or eligible for New York State OT license
• NBCOT certification (or eligible)
• Passion for helping patients regain independence
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills
