About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Ontario, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an experienced surgeon.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure sterility.
- Administer medications and fluids as directed by the physician.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN).
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in the Operating Room preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Be available for immediate start on July 26, 2026.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
