Local Contract Operating Room RN - $60-70 per hour

About the role

The Great Hospital in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a talented local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment working 36 hours per week, including 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist in surgical operations, including positioning patients, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile field
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and report any changes to the surgical team
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries and ensure proper sterilization of equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in OR preferred, but not required
• Strong orthopedic, trauma, and neuro experience
• No hearts, no transplants, and no robotic surgeries
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
