About the role

A hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for an 8-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the operating room setting
• Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in OR preferred but not required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for healthcare and a positive attitude
