About the role
The Great Hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a talented local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
- Manage patient flow and ensure smooth operation of the OR
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in operating room preferred
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved RN program
- Passing scores from the NCLEX-RN
- Current BLS certification

Schedule
