About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in an Operating Room setting preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
