About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Akron, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with other members of the surgical team
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Completion of a BLS certification
Skills
