About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD
- Assist with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Current RN license in North Carolina
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
