Local Contract Operating Room RN - $30-36 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Elko, Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure sterility.
• Administer medications and fluids as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor patients during surgery and report any changes to the surgical team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in OR preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating room equipment.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
