About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of operating rooms.
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
- Experience in the Operating Room preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
