Local Contract Occupational Therapist, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation - $47 per hour

Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position starting on August 3, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes according to established protocols.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Kansas.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient assessment tools.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in computer software used for documentation and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills

• Skilled in assessing and treating physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments.
• Experience working in acute care settings preferred.
