Local Contract Occupational Therapist - $70 per hour

About the role

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Monroe Township, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend children for occupational therapy upon referral from sending district.
• Prepare current motor status and goals for students' Individual Educational Plans.
• Schedule and administer therapy as per evaluation and treatment plan.
• Prepare Progress Reports four times per year.
• Refer to and maintain contact with other professionals where necessary.
• Provide physical assistance and behavioral support based on the needs of the individual student.
• Maintain daily student contact records.

Requirements

• Must hold acceptable NJ certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must possess strong communication; managerial and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the laws and legal requirements surrounding the responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a diverse school community.
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively help students develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
• Ability to work as part of a highly functioning administrative team.
• Required criminal background check and proof of US citizenship or legal alien status.
• Ability to work on site during the hours required.

Up to $70/hour. W2 contract, based on experience.
