About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a Psych contract assignment in Fulton, Missouri. The position is available immediately and will last for 13 weeks, with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to psychiatric patients, focusing on mental health stabilization and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Document patient progress and adjust therapy interventions to meet evolving clinical needs.

Requirements

  • Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy.
  • Qualified applicants MUST have an active state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Qualified applicants MUST have specific experience in psychiatric or mental health settings.
  • Preferred: BLS certification, Adult mental health clinical experience, Valid Occupational Therapist license, Be willing to obtain Missouri licensure.
