Local Contract Observation Unit RN - $47-55 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN DOU - Direct Observation Unit for a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with every other weekend requirement for 36 hours total. No on-call needed. A cardiac background is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct observation care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with patient care activities including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Document patient observations and care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in a Direct Observation Unit setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay
