Local Contract Observation RN - $54 per hour
About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse (RN) for a Direct Observation Unit (DOU) position in Urbana, Illinois. This role is also referred to as a Tele Step-Down RN, PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nurse, or step-down nurse, operating between general and ICU care levels. The position supports various specialties, including cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical, and ER holding.

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional financial incentives include:
- $600 travel bonus
- Extra hour bonus: earn an additional hourly bonus for working over your weekly contracted hours
- Guaranteed stipend if the facility calls you off
