Local Contract Nurse RN - Telemetry - $46-54 per hour

About the role

A local hospital system in New York is seeking experienced RNs to work in the telemetry unit. The position is a 13-week contract, working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to alarms
• Assess patient conditions and document findings
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Provide patient education and support
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing quality patient care

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
