Local Contract Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $62-65 per hour
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) role in Cleveland, Ohio.
About the Role
This is a local contract position for a PICU Registered Nurse at a hospital. The contract duration is 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, consisting of 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized pediatric care for patients up to 25 years old in a PICU setting.
- Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms; administer inotropes as needed.
- Assist with epilepsy monitoring and manage care for patients with complex neurological needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Work at least every other holiday, including night and day shifts.
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
- Maintain current Ohio or compact state license, with required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Document patient care activities using Qualivis – Lotus.
