Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $62-65 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a Stepdown contract assignment in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Stepdown RN care, utilizing your 18+ months of recent experience.
• Recognize ECG rhythms and deliver ACLS interventions efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adapting to floating requirements across units J1-2, J33, and ED.

Requirements

• 18 months of recent combined permanent experience in Stepdown or equivalent (travel experience OK).
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel experience suffices).
• Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Willing to work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate with acceptable scores during orientation.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants MUST have: 18 months of recent perm experience in Stepdown and a valid Ohio or Compact State license in hand.

Pay

Pay Range: $61.86 - $64.95 per hour

Schedule: 36 hours per week (3x12's) 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (D/N rotating shift)
