About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in St Paul, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Perform daily tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with patient activities of daily living.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care units preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of one year of progressive care unit experience.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of progressive care unit protocols and procedures.
