HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for their actions
• Cardiac drips knowledge (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Cardizem)
• List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Days post CABG, AVR/MVR, aortic root repairs, LVAD, immediate post VATS (chest tubes)
• Post Vascular surgeries, pre/post cath lab and EP procedures (pacemaker/AICD, heart caths, PCIs, TAVR)
• Bedside procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC insertion)

Requirements

• Caregiver and a great team player
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Floating Area(s): Med-Surg/tele, Ortho

Qualifications

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
