Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $45-53 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a talented contract nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Kankakee, Illinois. This role is for a 13-week duration, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assist with daily patient care routines including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in progressive care units preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
Qualifications
