Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $53-56 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Huntington, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the OR, including circulating and scrub duties for various surgical specialties.
• Assist in maintaining sterile environments and utilizing key surgical skills for procedures like trauma cases, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and ENT.
• Cookout with surgical teams to ensure procedures run smoothly, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an RN.
• Qualified applicants MUST have WV or Compact RN license (no temporary or pending licenses accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• Scrub experience preferred, circulate required.
• Ability to function in multiple areas including CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, ENT, etc.
• Valid RN license in WV or Compact state.
• Be willing to obtain state licensure if not currently licensed.

Pay

Pay Range: $52.98 - $55.63 per hour

Schedule

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Weekend availability; rotating weekends, no call, work every other weekend)
