Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $46-48 per hour

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract Operating Room Registered Nurse for a hospital assignment in Charleston, South Carolina.

About the Role

This is a 13-week local contract position with a 40-hour workweek and 10-hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical histories, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, and starting IVs.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during post-anesthesia care and manage recovery processes efficiently.
• Administer medications, fluids, and premeds as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses to deliver safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with various surgical specialties including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and GI procedures, ensuring all patients receive optimal care.

Pay

$45.94 - $48.24 per hour.
