About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for neonatal patients in an intensive care setting.
- Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alabama.
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) preferred.
- Knowledge of neonatal care practices and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
