Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $49-58 per hour
About the role
A local contract nurse RN Med Surg position is available for a 13-week duration at a hospital in Hamilton, New York. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the employment type is local contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Med Surg setting
- Work 36 hours per week
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Perform assigned tasks according to medical orders
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN
- Strong orthopedic experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- New York State license required
- Covid-19 vaccination required
Qualifications
Must be a registered nurse (RN) with current licensure in New York State. Must hold a valid BLS certification. Must be vaccinated against Covid-19. Experience in orthopedic care is preferred but not required.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills are essential. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) is beneficial.
