Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $63-74 per hour

About the role

The facility in Clearlake, California, is seeking a Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract position. The role requires a combination of day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled care during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Red Cross (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Certified Obstetric Registered Nurse (CORN) certification
• Current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with neonatal resuscitation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
