Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $60-70 per hour

About the role

Facility in California is looking for a travel nurse OB./L&D nurse!

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience as an RN.
• Current California RN license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledgeable in obstetric and neonatal care.
• Experience with labor and delivery protocols.
