Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Skowhegan, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist with the delivery of newborns and monitor postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of obstetric care and neonatal resuscitation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Pass a background check.
