Local Contract Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $48-51 per hour

About the role

At American Medical Staffing (AMS), we are seeking a contract ICU Registered Nurse for a High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) - Vent/Pulmonary Care/Acute Rehab assignment in Baltimore, MD. The position is a 36 or 48-week contract with a 12-hour shift, night shift, every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and manage complex cardiac and respiratory conditions
• Administer medications and respond to emergent situations with clinical expertise
• Utilize key skills in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and acute patient assessment
• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients requiring ventilatory support and respiratory assistance
• Support multidisciplinary treatment plans

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an RN
• A valid Registered Nurse license
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
• Willingness to obtain Maryland state licensure

Pay

The pay range for this position is $48.32 - $50.74 per hour.
