Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and EKG rhythms, including lethal rhythms, adhering to clinical protocols.
- Pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80%, and 100% on lethal rhythms.
- Float between ICU and IMC units, as well as MS and ED, as needed.
- Maintain current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Work every other weekend, including six weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) over a six-week period.
- Administer medications and treatments, and document patient care accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
