Local Contract Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $52-56 per hour

Local contract Emergency Department (ED) RN position in Kansas City, Missouri.

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with healthcare facilities nationwide to place clinicians in roles that match their skills and mission. This assignment is in an 18-bed Emergency Department staffed by 30 team members across three shifts. The unit uses Alaris pumps, AutoBiPAP, EKG, and GE cardiac monitors, and operates on the Meditech EMR.

• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2 RNs
• Mid Shift: 3 RNs, 1 Tech/Lab
• Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2 RNs
• Patient ratios: 3–4:1

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks, starting 08/24/2026
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (evenings/nights)
• Weekend requirements: Days/Mids – 3 weekend shifts per month; Nights – 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Certifications: ENPC or PALS; TNCC or ATCN; ACLS; BLS
