About the role
A Clinical Nurse Educator – Labor & Delivery RN position is available for a local contract nursing job in Far Rockaway, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education to new nurses and nursing students
- Assist with the orientation and development of new staff members
- Conduct training sessions on labor and delivery procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- MSN required
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Nursing education, precepting, clinical instruction, or staff-development experience preferred
- Experience with fetal monitoring, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, antepartum/postpartum care, and OB emergencies preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NRP required
- C-EFM preferred

Schedule
10 hours, nights, on call, rotating
