About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in Connecticut
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities

- Passport required for international travel

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of July 20, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks.
