About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to hospitalized patients in Med-Surg units.
- Assist with patient transfers from ICU to Med-Surg units as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare providers.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
- At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in Med-Surg setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Med-Surg setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
