About the role
A local hospital in Somers Point, New Jersey, is seeking a traveling RN for a Med Surg unit. The position is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts starting immediately. The shift is nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with medical orders and nursing standards
- Assess patients’ conditions and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Participate in ongoing education and skill development
Requirements
- BLS certification
- NJ RN license
Qualifications
- Current RN license in NJ
- Experience in Med Surg preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
