Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Bronx, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical intensive care unit (MICU) nursing services
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Experience in medical intensive care unit setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records
