Local Contract Medical ICU Registered Nurse - $42-50 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) position in Maywood, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical intensive care unit setting.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients' conditions using advanced clinical skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in a critical care environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
