About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Burlington, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in Med Surg / Telemetry units
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care activities accurately
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and start date is August 31, 2026 with a duration of 13 weeks.
