About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in Med Surg / Telemetry units
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alabama
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
12 hours, nights shift starting August 17, 2026, duration of 13 weeks.
